Day 19: Old Linslade to Leighton Buzzard

It's only about 2 miles into Leighton Buzzard, where we plan to shop and use the nearby laundrette (the laundry bag is bursting!).

The guide says that this pub, The Globe Inn is near to where the Great Train Robbery happened in 1963 when a highly organised gang stole £2.6m (worth over £70m today) from a mail train at Mentmore bridge. Google maps say otherwise - that the site is some way south of here. We wondered whether the robbers had had a pint here before the robbery - they were probably too savvy to risk it.
